How to Become a Race Sponsor
The Susan G. Komen San Antonio Race for the Cure is the largest 5k run/walk in Bexar County. The Race provides high visibility before the event and on Race day, with a captive audience of more than 30,000.
It is estimated that 192,370 new breast cancer cases will be diagnosed annually. Sadly, approximately 40,170 women and 440 men are expected to die. One out of every eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. It is the leading cause of cancer death among women between the ages of 40 and 59. The majority of women diagnosed have no known risk factors, other than being female and growing older. Most likely, you have a family member, friend or co-worker who has had this disease.
