Major step in personalized treatment — Thanks to a 2007 research grant from Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, scientists identified a set of 50 genes that oncologists can potentially use to tailor individualized treatments for all breast cancer patients.
Fit for the Cure, Wacoal is proud to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of its Fit for the Cure® program benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. For every woman professionally fitted at these events, Wacoal will donate $2 to Komen for the Cure. Wacoal will also donate $2 for every Wacoal bra or shapewear item or b.tempt’d bra purchased at these events. Fit for the Cure will take place at the following locations: March 3rd, Dillards, Rolling Oaks Mall from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.; March 4th, Dillards, The Shops at La Cantera, from 11 a.m. - 5.pm. and March 5th, Dillards, Northstar Mall from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Party for the Cure, Thursday, April 8th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at VBAR located inside Hotel Valencia Riverwalk. Admission is FREE and open to the public. Silent Auction begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Live Auction beginning at 7:00 p.m. Proceeds from event will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Click here for more information.
